Numeric PIN
You must know your numeric PIN in order to manage your voicemail. If you do not know your numeric PIN, set it up from your authenticated login session in the VoIP portal (https://opticwise.5060sip.com/) by clicking on your username/extension at the top right corner, then selecting "Profile", entering the new PIN, and pressing the "Save" button.
Accessing Voicemail from the VoIP Portal
Login to the VoIP portal (https://opticwise.5060sip.com/) with your username, which is in the format of extension@domain (for example [email protected]).
Click on the "Messages" (envelope) icon at the top of the page.
You now see a list of messages, and from this view you can play, forward (to another VoIP user in your domain), download, save, or delete each message.
Accessing Voicemail from the Phone Handset
Press the Message button (envelope icon) on the phone (usually on the lower right of the phone face for desk phones and for cordless/DECT devices you may also press and hold the “1” key).
Enter your numeric PIN when prompted.
If this is the first time you've accessed your voicemail:
- you will be prompted to record your full name. You will only have one chance to record it so please be prepared. (It can be changed in the future but requires the Office Manager to initiate the change.)
- you will be prompted to record your voicemail greeting.
Follow the audio prompts to navigate through your voicemail inbox and play, save, or delete each message.
